I’ve had one of those months so far. And from what I hear I’m not the only one.
This post was meant to be about what to do when things go wrong.
What to do next when you realise it’s gone really wrong.
And how much tissue paper to buy if it all goes wrong.
But then I had good news.
Enjoy. The first thing to think about is this.
If YOU haven’t got a recent back-up. All the tissue paper in the world won’t help!
You internet business lifeblood is your back-up. Your back-up has an up-to date listing of all of your customers. What they’ve bought. When they paid and what they want next.
Your back-up has all of thier contact details so you know how to stay in touch with them.
Your back-up has all of the most recent changes to your web-site and your host also has a back-up of your server and it’s setting.
You do have all of this don’t you?
If not. All is not lost yet.
I’ve adapted my autoresponder to continually remind us to back-up. And it helps!
Basically it sends us a message to back-up once every three days. That way I know that if I don’t back-up (and I know I should) and then I get a problem. It’ll be my own fault if I loose out.
I’ve even built in a ‘poke in the eye with a blunt stick’ reminder email every ten days. Just because I know how hard it is to find the time – sometimes – before it’s too late – hopefully 🙂
Then I got thinking.
If this can help me. It can help others. If you think this service can help you. You can sign on to the bonus club back-up reminder service here. And No. I’m not charging. Who knows, one day I may even sneek in some ‘real-world’ genuine specials. Just to see whose reading and whose just using it for what it is. A free back-up reminder service. How did this come about? Well my server started doing things I’d rather it didn’t. And one day I’ll actually understand what those ‘things’ are (or rather, were – hopefully). If there’s one thing I can guarantee you, it’s ‘shit WILL happen!’. This time ‘shit happened’ I was luckier than the last time it happened. But there was a time when I had to start again. Not nice. Where did it lead? Well that is the strange part. I’ve had a client whose been waiting for me to finish my current consultancy so I can implement them a mailing system. And I’d been waiting for Neil, the original developer of AutoResponse Plus to launch his new offering to the world. I’m glad I did. Contacter Plus looks like it’s going to make a significant impact on the world of internet marketing. I won’t bore you but I will encourage you to just check Contacter Plus & ARP3 out for yourself here. The new company running ARP3 is ECOM24 ltd. and a little birdie tells me that good things are planned and due from them. Another very good reason to check out ECOM24 is thier marketing programme. Neil has been around for a long time and has a solid reputation. ARP3 grew because of his attention to detail and the growth generated by affiliates who made it possible. This time things just got better. I can’t stress enough how much I recommend ARP and the potential of Contacter Plus. You can even download a trial version and use it free for 30 days. A real ‘try b4 u buy’ service. I’m hooked. Have been for years. What about you?
The affiliate programme pays $48.75 per sale (and that’s on the lowest selling product)
on the first level. Neil had been wanting to give more back to those who helped him and this time he’s given us a two tier programme.
