Sometimes I wonder what the internet marketing world is coming too.
Sometimes I get really annoyed at the blatent lies that marketers ‘tell’ us in thier sales pitch.
And then (every now and then) I see something that refreshes my mind and revitalises my perceptions.
I recently turned 40 and as legend has it my life is now beginning.Â
But since I got involved in with the Internet back in 1995 I’ve become
very cynical about almost everything I see or read.
Lets take Mike Filsame’s Butterfly Marketing course as an example.
The first thing I want to point out is that I didn’t buy BM. So I
don’t know what it contains. I’d even go so far as to stick my neck on
the block and suggest that for some people the (almost) $1000 price tag
was justified?.
My bitch is with the endless ‘gurus’ who were promoting BM for days before it was released. Why?
Because I can’t honestly see how many (if any) of them had seen what the product was.
How can a ‘guru’ honestly promote something that he hasn’t seen, tried or tested?
To me it doesn’t make sense at all.
It just goes to show (to me at least) how many ‘guru’s didn’t have your
best interests at heart. All they were interested in was getting thier
very high commision from you.
My advice to all is this: Don’t get swept along by hype. Wait until
the dust has settled and then make a desicion based on ‘real’ results
and feedback.
Why am I posting about this now? Because Mike still hasn’t yet ‘sold out’.
Do I have a link for you? NO.
Would I buy BM now the ‘dust has settled’? NO
Why? Because I’ve read to many negative things from ‘normal’ people
who did buy it, who don’t have an affiliate income to make up.
Rant over.
